Dancing Our Way to a Healthy Future (2010-2013) Little Rock, AR This project was a collaboration with Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) St. Vincent to help at-risk students develop healthy eating and exercise habits, discipline, and self-motivation, through the discipline of dance. Working with students at Forest Heights Middle School, served as primary instructor/director during Fall 2010, then served as director/liason (with UALR students teaching) for the remainder of the project (2011–2013).
Wichita State University – Assistant Professor of Dance (2004–2008) Wichita, KS Taught all levels of Modern Dance Technique, Choreography, Art of Dance, Improvisation, Dance Technology and Production, and Dance History. Mentored students in performance and choreography. Mentored students and faculty in digital sound and video editing projects. Taught master classes and workshops at annual events, such as Kansas Dance Festival, Children’s Dance Festival, and American College Dance Association Regional Conferences.

ArtisTree® – Guest Artist (2005–2006) Hutchinson, KS Hired as guest artist to periodically teach master classes in modern dance. Introduced dance students to modern dance and helped studio director locate qualified teachers for ongoing modern dance classes.

TEACHING – CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT University of Arkansas at Little Rock – Associate Professor, Head of Dance (2008–2023) Little Rock, AR Developed and proposed curriculum and assessment plans for B.F.A. in Dance Performance; degree launched in Fall 2009. Worked closely with Jay Raphael, Department Chair; David Belcher, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs; and Susan Hoffpauir, Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, to develop an appropriate curriculum that met the B.F.A. guidelines of the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD – national accrediting body) while fitting into the existing academic structure of the university. Actively participated and served on numerous committees and activities related to the dance curriculum, including its relationship to the evolving core curriculum for the university. Following external program review recommendations, worked closely with Department Chair to develop the curriculum for the B.A. in Dance, which launched in Fall 2018.
